Hello Again,
It's been a very busy month and a
half. For starters, I finally hopped on the social media bandwagon
that I'd long been avoiding (fear, really) & created accounts for
both TWITTER and INSTAGRAM. My handle is the same for both if you want to check out my posts:
For September, I set up a challenge
for myself: a Sketch a Day for 30 days. The results are posted in
both places, and I am largely happy with them. However, it taught me
that trying to keep pace with something like that is very hard work;
Even pulling from earlier sketches that had been laying about. The
routine is good, great practice to help build discipline... but
nevertheless, time consuming!
Moving forward, my plan is to only post
one or two a week. This way, I can actually work on spending more
time with them, so that they are truly special – and I am proud to
post them.
On the graphic novel/comic front, I am
still rough drafting a new work (which has the potential to become a
series, but I don't want to get ahead of myself just yet – it's so
tempting, though) & as soon as it is at a more defined state of
existence, I shall make an official announcement... with preliminary
sketches :)
